Federico Ciamei is a photographer and designer living between Milan and Rome. He is one of the founders of Nove Photography, a collective of emerging photographers and a centre for the development of contemporary photographic culture.

 

Federico has exhibited his photos at the Festival Internazionale di Fotografia di Roma and has received many awards in his field. Working with a variety of publications, Federico is recognized for his ironic style in commercial works. At the same time, his artistic projects never fail to impress with their diversity.

 

“I think it is essential to start any project without knowing exactly what the final result may be: with this process something new and interesting is more likely to happen”.

 

Federico contributes four photographs to Multiple Visions. One City that were a part of his Light is light (2011) project. His works reflect the relationship between the body and the place, specifically the lightness of one’s body in terms of potential change, and the power of mind to move the body through space and time.
