Pegah Salimielizi was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Rome in 2009.  She is a painting student at the Accademia Belle Arti Roma.

After participating in many group exhibitions in Italy (Milan, Rome, Spoleto, Fucecchio) and Iran, she launched a solo exhibition at Laleh Gallery in Tehran. In 2008 she participated in the 7th Biennial Painting of Iran.

Her submission to Multiple Visions. One City is a series of four acrylics on canvas named IO SONO QUI. The pieces represent the abstract vision of the artist and how she lives the city: the result is a colorful, mixed chaotic and confusing conception of the city of Rome. The body represented in the paintings is simplified, naïve and is a stylized figure immersed in a chromatic wave of sensation.

MULTIPLE VISIONS.
ONE CITY.
